Our Story
Upon inception of SPRISKA in 2009, our legacy has encompassed a purposeful commitment to establish and maintain relationships built on trust and personalized service that meets the needs of each of our valued customers.
Our journey began with founding father William Kelso, Sr., who inaugurated Special Insurance Services in 1966, which later evolved into Springfield Fire and Casualty Company in 1980. Strong foundational practices combined with rich familial dedication provided the natural pathway for the dynamic ascent of SPRISKA, which was started by our current CEO, William Kelso.
With producer and policyholder needs as our first priority, Bill has strategically assembled a talented team of professionals who have worked diligently to enhance services and expand the company into a total of six states. This team understands the multifaceted intricacies of insurance and channels that knowledge into exemplary customer service delivered with integrity. Our accomplished team is unconditionally devoted to our mission, which is prominent in the results of our work, and always ready to serve our customers.
